Jacket, $15 from a flea. It really caught my eye because I have not seen it anywhere before. I'm glad I bought it. :)
Ruffled shirt, $15, Bugis. One of my "formal" looking clothes, but I don't wear it often now cos it makes me look skinny.
Tulle skirt, <$10, Taobao. Got this skirt for work, haha. But I love my skirts.

Okay this look was damn random. First I picked my shirt, then thought, ok which skirt should I choose? Then I'm like, but I look skinny so I need a jacket. Oh, I remember I have that jacket. Then, ok, now my skirt doesn't match. So I changed to this skirt. Then I'm like, black & gold! Shall choose my studded wedges. And dug out some bangles which I never wear cos usually I'm too lazy to accessorize. I almost made myself a gold sequins ribbon ring since it was raining, but I couldn't find the ring base. Next time then.

I need to make myself some dreamcatcher necklace. Want them so bad :(
Need the materials but I'm forever too lazy to buy them.

Haha. I'm so into black now. :) I mean, thats why its my favourite colour. No other colours can compare, other colours may be loud and eye-catching. But it is the ability to make Black different, that appeals to me. Of course there are many ways to do that, but my fav is having Black with some Gold. Never fail to stand out. :)

And of cos there are many other meanings behind this colour combi to me, I feel like, if you ask me a question of "what is your favourite colour & why?", I would answer this perfectly. It describes me.

Its supposed to be double rounds but its still too loose for me so I made it 3 rounds and suffocated myself for that day!! Seriously, its so tight that my non-existent fats are squeezed out from the top & bottom! And it felt even worse when I ate.. Burger King + Bubbletea! LOL!

So I'm ordering from tb again! This time its for the month of July even though I know its still June.. hehe.
My budget was initially $150 then someone made me feel guilty so I decreased it to $110. But I felt that it was too low so I increased it to $130. I hope I didn't exceed my budget!!!! Okay maybe I did, including shipping. :( I like to give myself excuses for buying things.

First, normal looking denim (hopefully) highwaist shorts!
Bought this cos the one I got previously was too big for me. -.- and its not that I really like it, but I need one!!! For some clothes. Yup.

"Denim" dress!!!! Love this.
I know it looks plain and I meant for it to be that way.
What I like about it is the colour, material, length, and this specific collar.
Not too cheap either. It costs me about $15 but it will be worth it for I predict that it will be one of my weekly clothings.
But.... its blue again and I have almost the same number of blue clothes as black.
Its just that, they don't ever have nice clothes in other colours (to me)?!

Bought this cos of some other shoes from the same seller. Its okay.
About $8.50, and yea I just want more shoes.

This is about $4.20.
Bought it due to the price and on the pretext of needing more "school" shoes.

Okay I wanted to buy this beige heels initially ($6.30) but decided not to eventually.
Even though it does look simple and comfy.

Didn't wanna buy it initially because I don't 100% like it as much as I did when I saw my other bags for the first time.
But I was like fuck this, its only $15 for a BROWN bag, considering that all my other bags are black. And it looks vintagey and spacious so I can alternate between my black lace bag and this.

Am currently in love with these lolita shoes.
Which is not really THAT lolita afterall. I know, don't judge me.
I like that its cute + cool at the same time. Plus it looks comfy and simple.

Don't really like the colour though. I'm actually looking for the really vintagey kind of blue or pale blue. But its also okay! :)

I have always wanted floral printed shoes!! Especially wedges cos like the floral prints can cover the wedges, very chio hehe.
And also cos the black tapestry lita/foxy more ex... so yea. this is good enough!!

But the special thing is there are sizes up to 43.
People with big feet SHOULD BUY THIS. Really. cos I know its damn hard to find size 40 and up. Even harder to find it at cheap prices. And hard to find chio shoes too.
And I think that this is quite chio for a big size shoes!!! I feel like getting for fun too... hahahah!

I usually choose black over anything but this time I'm really caught between black and brown.

I think brown is pretty cos its vintagey looking, but black is nice in the simple kind of way.

The reason I wanted to order from taobao is cos of the maryjane wedges that I bought a size or 2 too big previously. I sold it to my sis. :(
The gap can fit around 2 fingers, but if I really squeeze I can fit 3 fingers in.

And I wanted to order a size smaller cos I thought even if its too loose, I can still wear socks.

But................
IT IS NOW OOS. T.T FML. Damn sad. There's only 1 seller in the whole of taobao selling this shoes. :(
And it is perfect. The material, the location of the strap, the height of the wedges, the height of the platform. The PRICE (around $10 only wtf argh sad ttm)
Everything is what I wanted it to be. :(

Sigh. It was still available last week. So sad, want to cry. :(

So I decided to get it in purple instead, and instead of a size smaller for black, I got 3 SIZES SMALLER.
LOL. I know, don't laugh at me.
IF I'm lucky, it will fit snugly. Because I can squeeze up to 3 fingers for the size 40 one. (Actually 2, but I really force the 3rd finger in) LOL.
But I don't know if that means I can get 3 sizes smaller -.-

Hello.. im on my phone now. Lol. Waiting for it to finish charging before i go to sleep. It has been 2hrs plus. Hate that it takes forever to charge, and 1 day to be used up.

You know over the years, i get used to things. I learn how to handle things.

Like if something.sucky happens, then think positive. I realise that i try very hard to be optimistic. Its not because i was born this way. I grew into it. Change it into something positive then you will be happier.

Dont think of the negative. It makes you sad. Nothing much will happen, life goes on. And its not the end.

Tiffany & I are renting a booth for the flea.
We have no idea what to sell but we were like don't-think-just-do-it. So yea when the time comes we'll know what we're gonna sell hahahaha.

I think can't make it for the 7 Dec shipment already, thats why I'm super sian. The person never reply me also! I thought like Sunday order then can make it by 7th. But really like no hope already -.- Cos the bag seller takes super long to send the stuff, since theres so many customers. Like it will take almost a week to send. And after that still must wait a few days what. Thats why I say 7th Dec no hope already.

Then the next one is 14th December. I don't mind that extra 7 days if I can receive the stuff by 25th December. Cos I'll feel bad if people buy then they can't get them by Christmas. Its like receiving presents! LOL -.-

Quite pretty right. The slippers not very flat also, can see from the pic! So its quite comfy haha.

Was writing my testimonial draft just now.... WHICH IS DAMN TOUGH.
Not because I have no qualities.

But because I have qualities that schools won't approve of.

I wish I could write about how awesome I am and how good my ideas are. How I'm not stubborn but hey my ideas are still better than yours.

How much I feel I could go if I had the opportunity to. The great things I would accomplish.

And I would talk about my dreams.

I will open a shoes shop. With many many pretty shoes. Shoes you don't see everywhere. Shoes that serve 2 purposes - For you to stand in it and for it to stand out.

There'll be rows of racks.
The racks will go according to price. 1st one will be $10, and the last one will be $2000. So everyone, rich or poor can shop in my shoes shop.

The ceiling will be painted plain white.
But there will be like a projector. So the scenery will be different as and when I like it.

If happy mood the ceiling will be a sky with rainbows with fluffy clouds.

Or there will be smiley faces.
Or candies.
Or shooting stars.
Or anything.
Even something interactive!!

The floor also!!!!
Like maybe the picture will be GRASS.
Then when you walk on it the grass will move also! And you can pretend to pluck flowers too.

Then I will make a.... thing... like a computer thing and put it in the store.
Touchscreen one.
And people can design their own shoes.

Will have all the parts of the shoes, colours, extra designs like buckles etc.
Then people can put them together the way they like it. Of course the price depends on the design also. Then got some feature will be FOR VIPS ONLY. So only some special people can get access to certain designs. Then they just have to make payment and confirm their orders via that computer. Then the shoes will be made in like 3 weeks.

Then my shoes damn special one. Will be put inside the limited edition range. I will put coloured lights on shoes. Can switch on/off whichever colour of lights you want. So your shoes will be different colours. Of course very expensive and must keep on change battery. This kind for rich people only, too bad.

And another shoes will have massager inside also. Also need battery one. When your feet very sore or tired already, then you switch on the massager.

Another one will be like wedges kind. And the wedges is removable and also can keep things inside. Oh then the wedge can change to flats or to heels also.

Aiya these are just some of the things my shop will have okay.

You may not believe in them now. But one day when this shop exist, you know whose it is.

Of course I will open other kinds of shops also.
I will open umbrella shop cos nobody open a nice umbrella shop yet. My umbrellas ALL GOT CONTROLLER ONE!!!! and got zips and buttons also. If umbrella too small and you wanna share with people? No problem, can buy extensions to make your umbrella bigger.
Or unzip to make your umbrella smaller, you will be a very considerate citizen.

And my umbrellas, must have a range that have EARS.
cause damn hard to find nice ones.

The ears will be 3D when you open the umbrella. Not flat flat one. Idk how it can be done, but it can be done.

Hot sunny day? Its okay still can use umbrella.
But this umbrella, more special. Got fan effect also. Switch it on and the umbrella will spin like a fan and cool you and the people around you down. Then everyone will wanna be your friend.

Rain too heavy?? Give up holding umbrella cause very troublesome??

Hi! I'm here to blog. And no, not about my shopping loots!

Was thinking about my talent, or the lack of it just now.
And then it struck me. I used to have a flair in art, but education ruined my talent.

I remember in primary school, I liked art lessons.
Teachers praise me all the time, even non-art teachers. They were always impressed in my artwork- painting, drawing or even making something.

I think it started because my parents always draw with me even before I started school. They taught me how to match colours, how to make a drawing better, how to shade. Actually sometimes, they will help me to improve my work too. Eventually, I always did my art better than others.

Not because my drawing is good, but because I knew how to enhance it.
Not because my colouring is good, but because I knew what colours are complementary.
Not because my painting is good, but because I knew how to save it after I ruined it. Only to have it turn out even nicer.

(Show off below. But thats cause I really think I was awesome!)

In primary 4, my art teacher showed us different styles of famous artists. Once it was Van Gogh and once it was someone whose name started with M..

So, one day we had an excursion to Botanic gardens, and the next art lesson, my teacher told us to paint something in Botanic gardens in Van Gogh's style.
I still remember the process of doing it. We had a week to finish our work but I was very lazy and only did it the day before submission. I didn't even remember how Botanic gardens look like so I just drew some random plants scenery. I even ruined it because my painting was so fail. But somehow I just had this flair in reviving my work from ugly to nice.

The week after, my art teacher would showcase our artwork to the class as usual. She kept mine last, and when my turn finally came, she said, "This is the true Van Gogh style."

I was even more motivated after that. The next week, she showcased our artwork again. This time it was a self portrait in M artist style. Again, mine was the last one and she complimented me once more.

I also won almost all the art competition in primary school that I took part in. It wasn't a problem to win the top 3 position. I mean, if I put in more effort I would be 1st. But even when I didn't put it effort I'll still have no problem being 2nd or 3rd or the very least, consolation prize. It was so obvious to me. If I wanted to win, I knew what I had to do, make my work stand out. But since I started being lazy from young, sometimes I would just do a common piece of work just so that the teacher wouldn't scold me for not submitting.

In fact, I felt that I was very creative. Teachers were all impressed by me. Once, it was a cake making competition for national day. Not a real cake, like a fake cake for decoration. Mine was 3 tiers. And unlike everyone else, I didn't use plasticine. I can't really remember but I think mine was bubble wrapped and it looked like jelly. Mine was so awesome, too bad we couldn't keep it but the teachers kept mine in the staffroom for decoration.

Actually they kept a lot of my work. They even displayed my primary 1 racial harmony artwork outside the dentist room until maybe last year, when my primary school closed down.

Another one wasn't art. Its a science project where we were supposed to make a model of the hand. Like the bones and stuff. I remember consulting my parents and they gave me this wonderful idea of using straws (like everyone else), but my fingers could actually move and bend, by pulling strings. I'm super proud of it. The teachers used my hand model to show the different classes about how our joints work.

In secondary school, I started losing my talent. Not that I was bad, but because I didn't practise as I felt that art was "a waste of time". It wasn't practical. I still topped art in Sec 2 though, even though that wasn't my best effort. And hey, I think I'm very talented in Van Gogh's style cause once, we had digital art and we had to make a copy of the Sunflower. And while others failed at it, mine was definitely good! The computer we used always hang in the middle of our work, so the art assistant teacher and my art teacher always walked pass my seat and reminded me to save my work as it was really nice!

Anyway, if people don't think my art is good, its also okay. Because I don't like to draw or paint infront of others. As in, I'll not put in my best effort and show you a sloppy work instead. Because I'm not exactly the best in drawing, and need more time to perfect it. I don't like to show people my weakness in that area and just make a sloppy piece, so people naturally think that I suck at art. But when I'm alone and no one is watching, is the time when I make my true piece of art.

Well, I know I'm so shameless and I should be more humble but I really think I'm good in artistic stuff. I always had people telling me, "I draw nicer than you". And although I let them say it, I know deep down inside, I can do it way better if I wanted to. So its alright, I'll just let you feel good about yourself. And its not like I don't know my limits. I may not be the best drawer, but truth it, I'm still better. Look at famous artists, do they draw very well? Best proportion in everything? No. So art is not about making something look exactly the same as it should be.

Oh wait. I think I'm getting out of point. Nevermind. I wish I can find some of my old artwork and take post pictures of them. Haha. Although I think most of them are thrown away already. :(

Who knows, one day I might be a famous artist and everyone would wanna buy my painting? LOL!

Which reminds me, I used to want to be an artist when I was young. But since artist don't earn much I thought of being an author, but wait they don't earn much either. Unless I'm famous.

I even wanted to be a poet in sec 1/2! I had like an exercise book with all my poems! LOL.

Once I wanted to be a scientist too. The kind of scientist that could invent things. And I tried that all the time in primary school. I would go home after school, find some junk material and tried to make something out of it!

See, point is,
I used to be talented, creative, interested in learning....

But education ruined me and took them all away.

This is my first proper blog post since forever. Congrats to me. I should start studying Bio now. Because grades are important for survival. Even if it means destroying my talent, and making me less of what I could be. What an irony. Isn't education supposed to make a person better? Maybe to society, education makes you a better and more useful person. But I beg to differ. Too much education kills your flair. It doesn't make one better. It makes us all the same.

Tell me what to do.

Honestly I don't feel like prelims is next week. ;/
Yeap I started studying but like my speed is seriously slow, like as though I'm doing homework.

Idk. I wish I have more time to finish revision before taking prelims. But really, my focus is on A Levels. I wanna study more thoroughly for each chapter rather than like 30% of each chapter just so that I can pass prelims.

But I have 2 thoughts about it. I want to do well for prelims too. Or at least do okay.

But if I continue at this pace I'll surely fail?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
*Stabs self* At least I started studying 2 weeks before CT. Now prelims = double the topics.
Double the topics in 1 week. What was I thinking. Wth.

Nevermind. Must try my best. Sigh. T.T

Haven't blogged about my stuff in a long time (I think) :D
K so I bought some bags from this online shop for $9.10 each! (Excluding postage but still!)
(They're on clearance! A couple of bags left. Go check it out. Might find something good!)
Actually I only bought one but my mother and sis bought 1 each as well. We intend to share them so I count them as 3. :D

They're are not like super duper nice. But for $9.10. Why not?

I think I might have gone crazy cause I bought this wig (in dark brown!). Even though I know that the bangs are gonna look awful on me. :( But the others with nice fringe have big curls which I dislike.

Let me tell you a secret.

When I said lets share shipping for Taobao, I really didn't expect such an overwhelming response that I'm kinda scared that I will screw the orders up.

ROFL.

And yea.
I ended up buying more than what I wanted initially.
(2 shoes, 2 bags, 1 dress, studs... fuck. I really wanna buy more stuff. I need $. Next year. Yep, next year when I become a part-time relief teacher for my $60/day and open a clothes/shoes/bags blogshop.)

Ordered this hair bow from taobao. I wanted the hairband, but it came in this elastic band thing. I'm still not very sure what it was for. So I attempted to change it into a hairband myself.

Which failed quite badly cause of how the hair bow was made.......

So everything got dismantled -.-
The middle used to be hair also, but I lost all of them into single strands T.T

Quite annoyed caused I spent so much time on it.

So eventually I glued together the knot with other stuff. Lol.
